The site link in the first post will literally call your congressman for you and let you know what he or she needs to hear.

What if both my senators and my congressperson already support net neutrality? Should I just be telling them to keep up the good work?

My congressperson is retiring this year anyway...

I guess I get a break. But the rest of you better harass the shit out of your elected officials.

I don't like this. I've been on the receiving end of blast emails, faxes and calls that repeat the same thing. And I'll tell you from experience: it gets the person/outlet's attention, but it doesn't mean they take it seriously. I'd rather personally call and complain than have some sort of robocall or pre-written speech sent to my Congressman.

I don't understand how after SOPA and PIPA and even an overload in complaints to the FCC that something like this is packing enough strength to be considered legit passing. But I guess when you put your people in the system, it makes things certainly harder to revolt against.

What's better... doing it or doing nothing at all? I sit on my ass doing nothing at all every day. It's not gonna hurt me trying something different for two minutes out of one day, 'cause doing absolutely nothing is clearly not working any better.

When you do this, you talk to many different people in many different places across the country. Not just one. And not all of them are going to react exactly the same.
