Queen's Blade is still hilarious

Also I don't get why this thread is general discussion.

I have never understood why this isn't in the media thread.

So Maria+Holic ended after twelve episodes? Short run.

Same here. Last time I checked, the last episode had not been subbed, so I didn't download anything. I'll have to search again later.

Because dating several forums iterations back, before we had a media board, it was in general. That's the only reason it stays in general. It's where people know it to be.

But then I saw a giant mech with a basketball and thought, oh goddamnit what the hell.

I might watch it anyways.

So I finally got Funi's site to work and saw their sub of FMA: Brotherhood's first episode. Good work. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

Also: apparently the third episode is called "The Heretical City", so maybe they are going to Liore after all?

So I watched the stompy robots with balls. Was okay show, just a bit fanservice but hope that will kind of pass over after couple of episodes.

Also watched K-ON episode 1 just now, seems kind of like Manabi Straight.

Specifically, they said they were going to, to the point of having the tickets, but Bradley forced them to cancel. I'm speculating on whether they're going to get new tickets and go there in episode 3. I suppose I'll know within a day, so...

So I decided to try Maria Holic and thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. Very original art style reminiscient (sp?) of HareGuu, and pretty amusing.

OK yeah, so they did buy new tickets to Liore.
I liked this episode; a nice amount of exposition with a decent framing device.
But then again, I mainly loved it because it was the first anime appearance of The Truth.

Ikki Tousen was good

It was mainly about chicks beating the fuck out of each other, and all of the characters are reincarnated versions of warriors from Three Kingdoms era China, doomed to repeat their pasts

Watching Higepiyo as well now. It's funny and short, 5 minutes per episode.

Quote:
Higepiyo (literally "Mustache-Peep") revolves around Hiyoko, a "surreal" bird that happens to have a mustache. Hiyoko can talk with "Piroshi" — Hiroshi, the human boy who won her in a fair — and the two are tight friends.(Hiyoko is actually an experimental test subject that escaped from a laboratory.)
