Default Thread of Wicked Sick Deals

I've seen a few threads pop up here and there lately pertaining to this game being on sale or that game being handed out for free and figured why not have a thread for it. Not a new idea, obviously. Finally got around to it, so. Gonna start with...

...Blizzard is currently selling World of Warcraft, The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King for a grand total of $20 from now until November 30th.

Amazon is having all their big Black Friday game deals right now ( on top of all their other, less meaningful deals ). DJ Hero 2 for the Wii is 40% off for the next two hours.

Love the idea of this thread. That said, every time I see the thread title I keep thinking of Henchman 24 saying, "I know they're wicked-easy to stain."

Oh hey Alpha Protocol is cheap.

Which makes sense since it's a terribly buggy game and Obsidian wants nothing to do with fixing it.

Just so people know, even though Portal 2 isn't on sale for pre-order yet, it can still be gifted to you by steam. It'll happen as soon as it goes on sale. There was a post on the steam forums by a valve employee confirming that.
That goes for all games that have a steam page.
So, like, Deus Ex: Human Revolution also works. Or Red Orchestra 2.

This is my list

I don't really care about Hunted: The Demon Forge, but I added it cuz there was no steam page for Shogun 2: Total War and I generally like Bethesda games. And it looks crazy.

Should be noted that Dues Ex: Gold Edition is $2.49. Considering hopping on that since I've never played it.

If it wasn't for the Indie Story pack and Audiosurf being on sale I would say today was worse then yesterday for Steam sale.

Also my top 5 list is:
Portal 2
Brink
Civilization V
Modern Warfare 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Modern Warfare 2 is just a filler game till I find something else

If you haven't nabbed Recettear yet, it's in the Indie Story pack thats five dollars. Even if you don't care for the other four, it's Recettear for five.

Honestly Recettar and "And Yet It Moves" is the only reason I bought that bundle.

Already had Puzzle Agent through Telltale.

Amazon is having lots of Cyber Monday deals.

Some videogame deals they have of note I suppose are that Borderlands: GOTY Edition and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are 50% off.

EDIT: Also Halo Reach and Fable III are $40 each.

Amazon is also having tons of deals on TV series. A lot of BBC series are on sale like Red Dwarf is 40-60% off on seasons and boxsets.

Old Doctor Who serials are about $15 each while the new series are 50% off.

I like these deals and sorry if they really only apply to me.

I didn't realize Inception was out. It's out and it's like 33% off.

Steam sales are up up up. Most notable things are Metro 2033 for $10, KOTOR for $2.50, and Monkey Island 2: Special Edition for $2.50

AvP, DiRT, Peggle, and Beat Hazard are also on sale. It is a good day.

Also there are bundles for Lead And Gold, AvP, World of Goo, and Trine.

The Indie Pack is worth it just for Altitude and Dogfighter alone.

Get it.

Be aware, folks: Buy too many things in rapid succession on Steam and your account will be disabled.

Tonight will be money spending night. Might get a second monitor and/or a TB external HD along with splurging on steam.
I've bought most of the indie packs...currently mulling over AvP and Monkey Island 2 on Steam. Are they good y/n?
