The vast, seemingly unending and undiscovered ocean and the boat they gave you to explore it all.

Oh, and this is so very true. It was possibly too epic.

I loved going around every square finding the new islands, and finding the heart piece/map/whatever on each one. I spent hours doing that before fighting Ganondorf.

Same. I just sailed and sailed and sailed and found all kinds of new crap before actually doing what I was supposed to be. I loved it when Zelda games used to be like that and that's what I mostly miss. There seems to be two kinds of Zeldas nowadays... the ones that focus heavily on exploration and hidden goodies and the ones that are all about dungeons and action. The latter seems to be more popular, and they're fun, but I'd love to have more of the exploration stuff.

Also, I fucking love this theme so much. Best one in my opinion.

Brings back so many memories.

Spirit Tracks Hands-on. Takes place 100 years after Phantom Hourglass. Looks exactly same as PH though.

I do believe this is the first time we've had two different Links that look completely identical.

Come on, that's just lazy design work, now. : /

I also suppose that means there'll be no more chance of seeing Linebeck. A shame, really, he's the only thing I liked about Hourglass. Well, him and those cute little eskimo/seal/deer things.

Come on. I mean there is no massive ocean in Hyrule in ST. It makes sense it would be several years after WW/PH.

Also, don't rule out Linebeck. He could be "reincarnated" in this one.

Or that whoever said they were 100 years apart is wrong. Not the first time Nintendo's been wrong about one of their games. Guess we'll see.

Who says it's not?

Also, my bet is on this one using the same recycled "WHO SHOT JR" idea at the end, too.

Maybe since Link isn't holding a sword in the new picture, it means he's just going to haul off and deck people.

The going theory about the "swordless" Link is that the game is going to be using Motion Plus. Since the on screen character always looks weird when doing 1:1 motion, Link is not going to actually be holding the sword. Hence fancy-pants fairy sword.
