Tried 64 with other people. It and Brawl are on polar opposite ends of the whack spectrum. Borderline no hitstun/block stun -> retarded amounts of blockstun that make utilt->utilt>utilt>utilt a legit shield breaker block string and the most obnoxious combos I have ever seen in my life in any game off of dumb easy setup. Grabs minus relevant lag on whiff plus massive combo potential/knockback equals stupid.

Fun as usual though.

You people are all faggots. Brawl was fine when it came out to all of you.

Early on it was fine. No one knew what they were doing.

Now it's just a big game of chicken and punishing.

It didn't change. It's the same game. It's also got so many bloody options that you can change how you want to play it. Was all fine with everyone then. It's horribad now. Some of you people are so idiotically fickle.

Uhh the game did change. Playstyles evolved. When the game first came out people were playing it more like Melee, now the game is very defense focused.

This happens in every game with a vs. mode after a certain amount of time.

I still like it. It's one of my favorite games, I owe it a lot and I play it when I have people to play it with. There's no point in denying it's flawed though.

No Ves, the game didn't change. You changed. Others may have. That doesn't change the game.

People just want something to bitch about.

This is semantics then.

The way in which the game is played, the flow of the game, and knowledge of the game engine(this is the big one) all changed.

For all intents and purposes, this isn't the same game it was a year ago.

Wouldn't it be more the community changed still rather than the game?

Sure it may feel like playing a different game but its because you took a look at a different part of the game a different way to play the same game. You just looked into a different room in a house, so to speak, and are now looking through it thoroughly. People are pointing out its flaws but then blaming the whole house it seems.

The only people that are saying the game is bad now are people that suck at it, or are named Profanity. He hated the game when it first came out though, so he isn't really linked to that. If this game has changed any, it's much less defensive than it was a year ago.

Game certainly didn't change to me. It also didn't change to most of the people here bitching about it. Any of them, if you want to be technical.

I've barely played it, nothing's changed except myself I guess. It's a lot more fun than it was when I first bought it.

Ves, you're being a fucking idiot. The game doesn't receive patches. The game does not have firmware updates that address issues or add content. The game has not had an expansion pack to build upon and change its landscape. The game changing is entirely in your own fucking mind. It is exactly the same game as it was the day it came out. I'm sorry you and your dorky little friends play it differently now than you did that day, but it's the same fucking game. You and your friends are not the game. The game is the game and the game did not change. Are you getting this?

I haven't played this game in a while. Probably because my Wii is in the living room now and not in my room where I can play it sitting in bed.

At high level of play, the flow of the game obviously changes. That's all he's stating. You obviously don't see that since you don't play the game competitively. But you should understand that, since this happens in competitive games with depth. New things are found and open up new ways to play the game. No one is saying that the game itself has been changed, but the play of the game at a competitive level has.

Is that even possible? If so, I'm so up for some coin battles after the Penguins vs Flyers game is over.

Coin battles are awesome. I've only played them like.. once.. and that was against the computer. Who will beat me even though they don't even TRY to collect coins.

Hey. You. ZZZZZ. Phoenix. Whatever your name is now. Shut the fuck up. I don't need to be talked down to. I know exactly what he's fucking talking about. I've been around you assholes long enough to know exactly what he's talking about and I understand exactly what he's talking about. It's a matter of perspective independent of your silly ass little perceptions of what makes a game. He was more right before than you are now. We're talking semantics. And semantically? He's fucking wrong. The game hasn't changed and it never will.

Well, when you first get something, it always seems pretty magical. Then the effects just kinda fade overtime, and the flaws become more apparent. That's the way I see it about brawl.
