I can understand that though, you really got to try hard to get Americans interested in soccer.

But it wasn't even Britain... Scotland, Wales and Ireland all have their own teams...

I think Rooney plays for the Houston Dynamo, too. I think. I'd check, but I'm much too lazy.

We have a pretty good MLS team here.

I don't know what silly arbitrary rules these leagues have, but does that mean he can't play in another league in another country or something? That's like saying because you bought an ice cream cone at Cold Stone at one end of the mall, you don't get to go get another the same day at from Baskin Robbins at the other end.

I was wrong anyway, though. I must've been thinking of someone else.

You can only ever play for one team at a time, makes sense to me.

Also, not watching the game but from what I hear Germany are dominating and are 2-0 up.

It does to me!

And if they have rules across international leagues about it, I can understand that. I just don't know that they do.

All that matters is Slovenia won so currently their are above us in the Group. We must unite to bring them down.

My, yes, it is.

Casino Royale was surprisingly exceptional, though. Not so much with Quantum of Solace, but you can't win 'em all.

See, the problem is, not many Americans know the difference. They see islands, they call 'em all England. I confess I'm not much better -- the only reason I know the difference in the first place is because of Hetalia. >_>;;

(And yes, the fangirls ARE all going crazy over this.)

Also, them horn things? People say they're getting annoying.

You know, the origin of the word "soccer" is actually England.

God damn Germany didn't have to anally rape the Aussies so bad. >>

Oh they were thinking of banning the Vuvuzelas, the horns, seems the FIFA president shot that idea down and said to get over it as its like that at South African games anyway.

I'll admit I thought something was wrong when I watched the first game I thought a camera guy had pissed off some africanized killer bees. I've gotten used to them though.
