They've had like 4 steam updates in the last week stating that Offline Mode was fixed. It was pretty funny 'cause once they got to the 3rd time they'd fixed it they had it say "really fixed offline mode."

It was annoying when offline mode wasn't working since I use it to let my brother play some of my single player games without kicking me offline.

Solution: Send Gabe Newell some babies. He may be too hungry to actually fix anything right now.

Valve seemingly got 3 ex-Naughty Dog employees now. Good PS3 ports coming?

Valve has said they want to make PS3 games but only if they aren't the stepchild versions like Orangebox was. Hiring devs that worked on Uncharted would make sense for this.

I'm sure they're all for making better PS3 ports when they do, that I don't dispute. The fact that they hired new guys who happened to work at a Sony development studio before now is being speculated to that end is the dumb part.

After the Orange Box and the complete absence of L4D on the PS3 I don't know what to believe. D8

I'd be incredibly happy to buy a Valve game on the PS3 that has been given the same treatment as the 360 and especially the PC. But I would vastly prefer the PC version over the console version.

I do.

Considering my Windows machine lags when I start up Firefox now, if I want to play anything Steam-related I'm gonna have to wait for this to come out for OSX.

I figure this isn't important enough for its own thread, but is worth saying.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is free of charge on Steam until the 12th.
