I was thinking Dakota Fanning.

Edit: I've played most of the Zelda games but only beaten four, two of which were handhelds. Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Minish Cap, and Phantom Hourglass. Never finished Ages/Oracles, Wind Waker, Link's Awakening, or Majora's Mask. Haven't seriously played the NES Zeldas, and never touched Twilight Princess.

Matter of fact, the Zelda game I've beaten and played the most was the multiplayer game packed in with the GBA Link to the Past, Four Swords. The bro and I have probably conquered Vaati's palace at least a hundred times by now. Wish they'd make a sequel to that stuff (and the Gamecube game where you plugged in a GBA to play was lame. I want a handheld sequel, dammit).

Please go and finish Wind Waker immediately. Despite the fact that it had zero challenge, the end fight is the most epic out of any Legend of Zelda.

I'm probably not allowed to say this, but I just disliked OoT. I couldn't see much value in it.

Although it could be because I got the game when it first came out, which was...I dunno, some time when I was like 4. I really got into playing it when I was 8. When I finally gave it a 3rd and final shot last year, I let my cat sleep in my room...She crapped inside my N64 and broke it.

Since then I never played LoZ games. I played a demo of Wind Waker or something. I thought it was pretty cool, but never bought it.

But uh, which game should I buy and give a shot?

You could start with the NES Zelda so when(or if) you continue to the next you can really experience it's evolution.

If you want to play a Zelda game with proper challenge, buy a 2D one.

LttP being the best.

LttP is arguably the best Zelda game ever. Even if you can only really play it once. It has the most dungeons, even if they are linear, and most of the bosses are a decent challenge, and it had the medallions. Man, I loved those.

I agree with unnecessary ire that the TP game gets, it IS a good game, and I can't agree with it being hated because of the expectations.

And OoT? It's not that great. Water dungeon for the loss. That one place ruined my game

Or maybe I just suck.

Saw it on Kotaku. People are saying that the girl looking like one of the fairies in Wind Waker might be the living incarnation of the Master Sword. Sounds interesting enough. Can't wait to find out more!

I think that almost might be looking into it too much. Nintendo just really likes reusing specific design flourishes for no real reason. I remember how before TP came out, people were like, "Midna's helmet has the same eye as Majora's Mask!" and that ended up being nothing of importance.

The girl is unmistakably the fairy queen in some incarnation, though. Maybe she made the sword?

I dunno, I think they got something there. Remember how Miyamoto pointed out he wasn't holding a sword?

Ah, that's true. I was wondering what he was on about, the sneaky devil.

Oh geez, and her cloak's ruffles even match the arms of the handle! How did I miss that?

little did we know that Valve's "Just trust us" statement meant that Left 4 Dead 2 was not only a sequel... it was a complete segue into a completely different series... Zelda

They should have Left 4 Dead with Link, Samus, Mario, and Kirby.

The more look at that teaser image the more I'm disappointed in it. If the illustration is anything to go by, it seems like it will be similar in style to Twilight Princess. Although, I figure it's more due to the fact they already have the assets and they're gonna reuse 'em.

Pretty much. Oh well.

And what I absolutely loved about Wind Waker seems to be what most people hated about it.
