My theory for Dhurke dumping Apollo in Japanifornia and keeping Nahyuta in Khura'in is this:
-Apollo was not his biological son. I think Dhurke was worried he'd never be able to face Jove again in the ~Twilight Realm~ if he knowingly kept Apollo in danger. It's like how a mom drives more carefully when her kid's friend is in the car with them, or something.
----Nahyuta would've been around 11-13 when Apollo went to Japanifornia, and it's possible he was already a part of the revolution. To be a Khura'inese prosecutor, and to overthrow the regime, he would have had to stay and get to know the court system firsthand. Not to mention, Rayfa would have been born by then. He may have felt a sense of responsibility to watch over his baby sister.
From what I remember of AJ, Apollo's motivations were twofold: to bring truth back to the court system, and because he was a Phoenix Wright fanboy. I'm pretty sure Phoenix's disbarment case had something to do with it.
It does make sense for Apollo to know Khura'inese. My only guess is that he purposefully tried to suppress it along with all his other memories of Khura'in.
Spoiler for wait until after finishing the first trial of case 5 to be safe:
I have no idea why, but this makes me laugh. Probably more than it should.
Datz, you're a dork. And your explanation does make sense. I can always count on you to explain stuff I'm too impatient to figure out :D.

Thanks for reminding me, I'll go download it right now. Can't have a proper AA game without Larry being involved somehow :D. And even if it's not free, at least it'll be a proper case unlike those Asinine Attoney ones.
The final case, wow..That was really really sad, seeing Durhke die like that.A great game, better than DD, though not enough Maya x Nick parts in it, why can't they just let them be a couple already..Also dat ending with Polly and Trucy's mom, that HAS to be letting us know there is atleast going to be a 7th game
I finished the Larry case like the day after I bought it and I didn't even gush about it.
IT IS SO GOOD YOU GUYS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE CORE GAME
non spoiler stuff
Larry looks hella fine in his getup
Sorin looks hella fine period
Pierce looks hella fine period
Ellen is so cute when her hair is in its natural state! Her headdress is actually made of napkins! And her freak out face, eeee
We go back to the orignal duo of Nick and Maya with Edgey prosecuting
If only Gumshoe had been there too, it would have been the perfect OG characters case :')
Spoiler for the actual case:
THE MOMENT PIERCE SHOWED UP I KNEW HE WAS THE PERP AND THEN THE POCKETWATCH HAPPENED AND THEN SELENAS PHOTO SHOWED UP AND IT JUST CEMENTED EVERYTHING AND AAAAH. I just hate the fact Larry is appearantly still a failure. The end of T&T gave me hope that he ended up a succesful author and now he's just a schmuck. I want him to be succesful like his friends dammit.
But the case man, what a rush. At first I'm like timetravel, whut? But then the truth came out and it was like, duh, ofcourse. But I seriously wouldn't have been surprised if the timetravel had actualy happened. This is a world with real live ghosts and mediums and all.
I did feel bad for Pierce and Sorin though. Losing your sister in an accident you caused is horrible, and the having to relive it every day of your life becasue of the memory loss? Ellen is the only good thing in his life, and he was about to lose her too. And when Pierce broke down in court! I can sorta understand him, losing your wife to be in your own OR, but he had no right wanting to kill innocent Ellen. And wasn't it a rule that surgeons aren't allowed to operate on close realtives/friends anyway? I know they did it for the drama, but still :P.
AND THE ENDING CLIP OHMYGOD. THE GIRLS LOOKED SO CUTE WAITING FOR THE BOUQUET TO FALL INTO THEIR HANDS AND THEN LARRY GETS IT AND EDGEY IS ALL LIKE YOU DUN GOOFED SON, WAS NICE KNOWING YA.
Wonderful case, loved every minute of it. Buy it y'all.
