I watched the first two episodes and was coming in here to say the same thing Jake said. That hallway bit was fucking fantastic. Blew me away.

I watched ten minutes of this and stopped because I know I need to show it to more people and then watch it with them. Holy shit is the intro sick though. Going to actually watch it tonight hopefully.

Just finished this, it's better than any of the movies marvel has pushed out.

Spoiler for ???:
Though I'm not really a fan of how Fisk is portrayed, he's so Childish it hurts, and the actor is a little hammy.

Spoiler for Response to ???:
It's a bit offputting, but I find it interesting, it helps that the actor portraying him is this guy:

Saw the first two episodes so far. Gotta say I'm loving it more than I was expecting. Thought it was over-hyped but I was wrong.

*Oh and thanks Zev!

I think it's a little overhyped, but it's still pretty good.

You know, this show is basically Vincent D'Onofrio's show. Which is fine, because he is fantastic.

I finished this earlier. I liked it a lot. I liked that it didn't feel like regular superhero schlock. It just felt like a television show about a guy that had had enough of what was going on in his town. It felt a lot more grounded in comparison. Even the names. The nicknames people kept giving Murdock always changed and I didn't even hear the name Kingpin once. People were just people.

Spoiler for Kingpin:
I understood it as him not having grown into that role quite yet during S1.

He'll probably work under the alias if he's in S2

Maybe, but I doubt it. The show just feels like they were trying to keep it grounded and not goofy. I was sure I'd hear someone say the name in passing, but as a descriptor, not as a name.

I've so far watched 8 episodes of this. It really good so far.

Spoiler for Fisk:
Fisk comes off to me as having some form of Autism. Not in a bad way, but his mannerism strike me as such.

I was pleasantly surprised with Daredevil's season 1, can't believe it's already this close to season 2.
