Exactly. Naughty Dog has always been really good with their details. The completely uneventful breather chapter where Drake walks through the village is pretty much just a huge showcase of that.

This'll probably be the third game I get for my ps3 this Christmas....Demon's Souls and Ratchet and Clank: crack in time come first though.

Man the ps3 has been on fire this year.

Just beat it on Normal. Holy shit.

This was better than the first in literally every way.
I'll be surprised, honestly, if ND can top themselves with 3.

Oh, who am I kidding, we all know they'll manage it anyway.

Seeing how many people I can kill with stealth before any given fight is awesome.

Yup. Just did that.

Also, that Clown picture is just amazing, Morbid. XD

Hey, Morbid, gimme your PSN. Maybe you, Skeeb, and I can get into a co-op game. I'm loving survival. Surviving that very last round against five Gatling guns is such a stress reliever.

My PSN is unsurprisingly just HappygoMorbid. Of course, right now, I'm away from campus, so I can't play anything. :<

Oh. And I figure that we could all use a reminder that Greg Edmonson is a glorious fucking composer.

Indeed, he is. The themes that played during the gun fights was fitting.

Also whenever the camera zoomed back to show what you were climbing, and then the instruments just begin to scream with a sense of accomplishment, hell to the yes.

I love Sully so much.

"God, I'm sweatin' like a hooker in church!"
"...You brought a hooker to church?"
"Why not?"

I'm trying to unlock most of the stuff in the store. Is multiplayer cash used with the single-player store? Seems like it.

Also, playing as Skelezor is awesome.

Maaan, this cracked me up.

holy shit, this game is rad. The ending, oh my, wow.

Best PS3 exclusive for sure.

I would very much like to play some multiplayer with you guys sometime soon.

Also, does anyone else just end up staring out at the scenery? I kinda feel bad when I rush through things and don't take the time to check out the environment.

Seriously, the ending to this game really sealed the deal. It's just too fucking awesome

"What's a ten?"
"Clowns."

Fucking clowns, it's always clowns.

Also, yeah, I just stared at environments for a while. While we were going through the train level we just stopped playing for a minute to look at the little villages passing by. This game is fucking beautiful as all hell.

Ahaha, Well. I'm not trolling, but I actually didn't like this game that much.

Which is weird, considering I LOVED the first one to absolute death.
And the second isn't far removed from it.

I won't really argue why, for all intents and purposes it seems like a good game with enough little things that piss me off for me to not like it.

Also, what is wrong with this girl's eyes:

Something about her just creeps me out.

This game was absolutely fantastic. Beat it on hard in a few days. I love how it's really -really- like watching a movie. The way everyone acts, talks, and moves are very real feeling. Oh, by the way...
Spoiler for FYI::
I HATED THAT FUCKING BOSS FIGHT It's the only "boss" I've ever actaully stayed up two or so hours to beat. Mostly because I kept fucking up at bad times. Like falling down that little gap? God DAMN I hated that fucking gap.

Talking Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

http://www.unchartedthegame.com/
Quote:
No need to scan that headline twice and make sure you read it right – UNCHARTED 3 is real.

This morning, Entertainment Weekly revealed the next chapter in the critically-acclaimed, top-selling UNCHARTED franchise – UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception.

UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception continues to evolve all of the core principles we laid out for the UNCHARTED franchise, most important of which is creating an unmatched and extremely compelling interactive cinematic experience. In addition to having a compelling story and authentic characters that all of our fans can relate to as key facets to creating this type of experience, we push ourselves and the capability of the PlayStation hardware through constantly refined gameplay mechanics and technology innovation. Our dedication to creating the best interactive cinematic experience can be seen in our last two games – UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune and UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves. We’re especially honored and humbled that both titles have been so successful, selling nearly 8 million units combined and earning more industry awards and accolades than we can keep track of. We’ve set the bar very high for us to outdo the past successes of our previous UNCHARTED games. We’re looking forward to taking on this challenge to top ourselves and create a truly unforgettable interactive cinematic experience that everyone can enjoy.

So, if you’re wondering what UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception has in store for you, we wanted to share some early details.

UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception

UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception features the return of famed fortune hunter Nathan Drake and follows him through a gripping, action-packed storyline that will take you all over the world. In his search for the fabled “Atlantis of the Sands,” Nathan Drake and longtime friend and mentor Victor Sullivan set off on a daring trek into the heart of the Arabian Desert. But when terrible secrets of this lost city are uncovered, their journey becomes a desperate bid for survival that will force Drake to confront his deepest fears.

Throughout UNCHARTED 3, you’ll be taken to spectacular new locations around the globe that will showcase all of the work we’ve taken on to take acclaimed physics, particle and visual effects to a new level.

Competitive and co-op multiplayer will return as a key ingredient to the UNCHARTED 3 package, where all of the new features we have planned will combine with our signature single-player cinematic gameplay to create a unique action-adventure multiplayer experience that can only be found in the UNCHARTED universe.

Oh, and there’s one more thing – UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception fully supports high-resolution Stereoscopic 3D.

We’re looking forward to exploring it all with you in the months to come. Be sure to hit up your local newsstand tomorrow and pick up a copy of the December 17 issue of Entertainment Weekly – you’ll find a ton of additional details on UNCHARTED 3 and the new art shown above in glorious, full color print. Enjoy!
Looking good, it'll probably have gameplay at the spike TV game awards tonight. I'm pretty freaking excited.

Man. The multi-player beta is so cool. If any of you guys still have that free month of Playstation Plus active / bought Infamous 2 you should totally download it. If not you can download it the 5th.
