He's supposed to be in Captain America 3 as well. His role was going to be small originally, they were going to write him out completely when he wanted a bigger part. But some strings were pulled and he got his wishes. (And the world rejoiced.)
Oh, well, I mean. That's a cameo, though, right? I mean, nothing more than when Samuel L. Jackson was in Iron Man 2, yeah? Or is it more like Scarlett Johansson in The Winter Soldier where she's a big part of the film?
Thought the Cumberbatch thing was still a rumor, but I got no clue.
Besides that, huge ass event today with basically plans for the entirety of Phase 3 for the next 6 years. The next Avengers move after Age of Ultron will evidently be a two-parter. lemme find the stuff here quick.
here's the big picture, I'll see if I can find some of the other info. There's apparently plans for more tv series as well.
I honestly am outta the loop. I didn't know were getting a Captain Marvel movie.
Awww yeah, I can see Carol Denvers being popular.
Nobody knew before today. And it is indeed Carol Danvers and not Mar-Vell or Noh-Varr or Monica Rambeau or whoever else. Which is pretty interesting considering how recent her change from Ms. Marvel was.
A lot of new things I'm unfamiliar with, no idea who the Serpent Society or the Inhumans are, what the Infinity War is (though I assume it has something to do with that Infinity Gauntlet), and I've pretty much only heard of Dr Strange, Black Panther or Captain Marvel.
The Inhumans are essentially possibly the most powerful group of characters before we hit cosmic levels. They live on the moon. They're led by Black Bolt. His superpower is his voice. If he so much as whispers, he can blow away most obstacles. If he yells, its pretty much the end of most things.
Serpent Society are fucking naga burglars and I never thought I would see them.
