People ask me that all the time. I don't know. I don't use special curly hair shampoo or anything like that. I just get out of the shower and whip hair hair back and forth and that's that. So I don't know...

A wizard did it.

Vampire Jubilee, Power-suit Jubilee, or Fireworks Jubilee?

The Catcher in the Rye.

Oh wait you probably mean comics. I don't know. I'm not sure what you like or what you'd want to read. I kind of want to stop peddling superhero shit because I feel bad for telling people to read all that confusing bullshit mess. So I'm going to tell you to read what may be my favorite comic book of all, Phonogram: The Singles Club.

It's actually the second volume but it's a whole lot more accessible than the first. I'm not saying that you should never read the first volume but I am saying that it's a lot weaker and if you don't know much about britpop then it loses some meaning. Anyway, the series is kind of an urban fantasy where music is literally magic. The Singles Club follows one night and each issue tells the story of that night from a different person's point of view. It's really good. It's written by Kieron Gillen who you may know from Uncanny X-men, Generation Hope, Thor, Journey into Mystery, SWORD, or Beta Ray Bill: Godhunter and he's easily one of my favorite writers. Jamie McKelvie is the artist and he's basically my favorite artist right now. He's only done a few issues here and there that you may have heard of, and recently redesigned Ms Marvel's costume and that's kind of a big thing.

So yeah, read Phonogram: The Singles Club

Tough one. Power-suit is right out. I love Fireworks Jubilee so much, especially after actually reading some of Hama's Wolverine and Lobdell's Generation X. But Vampire Jubilee is the Jubilee I fell in love with and I want to give it to her because Wolverine & Jubilee and X-23 are the reasons I like Jubilee in the first place.

No wait, fuck it. Fireworks Jubilee. Fireworks Jubilee has the best powers. The best. Excluding Dazzler, of course.

Do you feel that the industry's focus on super hero comics has actually hurt comics from going mainstream once again?

Pricing is obviously an issue but people get bored of muscle dudes punching each other.

To an extent yeah. Comics are far too synonymous with superheroes. Like, if I tell someone I'm really into comics they immediately ask if I'm more into Marvel or DC. People still seem surprised when I tell them about how Scott Pilgrim was a comic first or Walking Dead or anything like that. So I think that stigma is going to last forever. There's still a chance of mainstream success since they might draw in the movie crowd, but I doubt that will actually happen. Even if they were able to pull in that audience it would be hard to keep them interested in these one chapter a month never-ending soap operas.

Never with that specific intention. I have relaxed with my pants off in the company of other but I didn't take off my pants to relax.

In the company of who? What kind of situation was this? Were you wearing anything else at the time? Was there an oil of some sort involved?

What was your dream? Has it been crushed and/or horribly mutilated?

That forum drama is pretty sweet. I'm pretty sure that throwing rocks at slightly larger rocks would be a much better use of my time but I'm sure it wouldn't be as funny.

Everybody gives me all the money and I get superpowers and I go back in time and have a lovely evening with Audrey Hepburn.

What is your opinion on superman in general? I think he's kind of boring at face value but I've never actually read anything of his really. How can he fly faster?
