It was really funny. I was playing terran and I was up against this protoss dude and (since there's no single player) I was just like "hey man, how about we just not attack each other and fill up our tech trees?" and he was like "oh, totally"
I was so excited when I built my first battleship. "Set a course", "Battle cruiser operational", "Receiving transmission", "Good day commander"
that voice... so sexy.

Oh, and sunken colonies are called "spine crawlers" now. They can "uproot" and move around.
I don't like the look of how they attack. The spikes don't shoot out from under the ground, instead it reaches out with its giant dick extension and stabs the dude.

I wish I got into the beta. Sounds fun. Sadly I suck at Starcraft D=.

well, I mean, they didn't change the outdated parts too much either. Like, the big, bulky UI, or the animated picture of the unit in the bottom right. They didn't try to take starcraft and make it a new, modern game. They made starcraft, again.
which is what they should do.

They've basically done that with Warcraft over the years, too. Well, not counting the MMORPG. Not even III was too drastically different in that (or any) respect. I'm sure Diablo III feels just like Diablo II.

You know what I want? I like Blizzard and all, but I want a new IP outside of their big three. Or...

Eh.

I'd prefer something new, though. Warcraft IV is probably the next logical title out of them, and I can't say I care all that much, even though I enjoy the series.

I thought they said they were making a new IP for an MMO awhile back.

They have announced jack. You know how many games they've made, started or contracted now that have never seen the light of day? I won't believe it until I see it. And even then, until it's on store shelves.

LE announced and the announced the price of the game.

Normal copy - $60
LE - $100

I am fine with the Le price as that is how much Blizzard LEs usually cost but $60 for the normal copy is lame. So all 3 campaigns could potentially cost $300.

So, this article here's made me see if Project Revolution has made any headway since last I checked, and they haven't done a single thing. Well, my love for SCI and my desire to see it come into 3D seems to have come apart. Not that it'd be fun to see how the line of sight/fog of war mechanic will bring about its own metagame (which might prove to be as enjoyable as SCI's) but I really just wanted to play SC1 in 3-D.

Oh, hey, I have a beta for this. Wonder how long that's been there. Logged into Battle.net to enter my celestial horsie code and saw that.

I may get the LE for the flash drive with SC1 on there seeing how my copies are long dissapeared.
