What Mega said

My Wii is now used for Samurai Warriors 3 and Goldeneye

I generally only play Smash Bros. and some VC games on my Wii now. Although, I did get No More Heroes 2 recently and still need to play it.

I'll get to it after I beat SMRPG.

Wasn't patched in. Been there since launch.

Though like the others said, it is pretty awful for most things. Not enough sensitivity with Starfox 64 for example, and the shape isn't right for NES/SNES, though I imagine that wouldn't be much of a problem for this since it's an RPG.

Oh man, I busted out the SNES and played through this again over the last few days while my computer was being repaired (yeah that's right, when I can't stare at a monitor I stare at a TV w/ controller in hand instead). I'd forgotten that it's one of my favorite games... just so endearing. I felt so sad when the adventure was finally over, even though I knew it was coming. :(

The first Paper Mario was great, but for me it's still in the shadow of SMRPG. It's just got this spark that can't be beat.

After I finished it this last time, I was doing timed hits in my sleep. Sparkly sound effect and everything.

I haven't played this either. I've played every other Mario RPG but the first.

I never owned an SNES, I always wanted one though.

I played it again recently and Jesus Christ, I did not realize this was beatable in a day. It is surprisingly short.

And amazing still. Aside from the ship part, it hasn't aged badly.

I guess new games don't have dungeon puzzles anymore.

In terms of frustration? The Water Temple hasn't aged any nicer either.

the puzzles are completely logical. Just don't be dumb, haha.

Games aren't supposed to be easy.

I've always felt Kirby games are aimed at really young kids, and that power selection/some of the puzzles/etc. are actually supposed to test your basic reasoning skills.

Kirby is easy mostly because you have too much health and too many lives.

The puzzles in Mario RPG aren't hard though, Nuva just needs to use his brain, which sadly most new games don't make you do.

I think they do. Just in the worst ways. Like, I shouldn't have to do a two hour tutorial in your game just to know how to control my character and access his inventory. The rest of the game is always a cake walk just so long as you don't put the controller down for a week and try and come back in the middle of the game later. Then it's tutorial time again!

All in all I really enjoy the ghost ship dungeon, but damn if that 3D jumping maze puzzle isn't dumb as shit.

Honestly, I'm not sure why it's being defended. It was annoying back then, it's annoying now.

And considering I love a challenge, I know the difference between actually feeling like I accomplished something and pure frustration. It was a stupid puzzle. Solvable, yes. Considering I ended up doing it. Rewarding? No.

But maybe from a different perspective, it's actually fun. I guess I should consider that. Why does it take me so bloody long to realize that?
