I did absolutely everything in this game from finding every secret chest to beating the hidden boss to getting all the best items. Everything.

I'm appalled at how many people haven't actually played this. This was classic, and even in this day and age, it still shines as one of my favorite RPGs, alongside Tales of Symphonia (oddly enough), FF9, and Lost Odyssey.

I'm surprised by the amount of people who have never played this game. It's a classic.

Appalled. You're appalled that people haven't played a video game.

I thought FFX was a better game than FFIX, even if I didn't like it as much.

I was gonna start playing FFX again pretty soon.

I've played IX on at least 3 occasions but I've never finished it

I liked FFIX, but I still maintain the last fight made no fucking sense. Then again, it's Final Fantasy. It was just worse than usual.

FFIX is probably one of my all time favorites, but yea the final boss did come out of nowhere, but at least it was better than Yu Yevon.

bosses that don't make sense are waaaaaay better than bosses who are ridiculously easy.

love it when they're both.

I haven't played this, either. Is the VC version playable using the Wavebird? I'd rather do that than use the remote or remote/classic controller, but it'd be a reason for me to turn on my Wii again.

Also, I did not like Tales of Symphonia. The battling was fun, but the dungeons were repetitive and boring (and each one had the exact same dungeon music), baddies were easy to avoid on the map, the voice acting was terrible, the plot didn't impress me much, and getting new gear was a huge pain in the ass. I'd save up every penny from stuff and still not be able to afford anything. So I'd sell some of my old weaponry, which I found out later is stupid because you need it as an ingredient for better stuff. Which is even more expensive.

I wouldn't think so. I've not run into any other VC games that allow you to use Gamecube controllers, unless that's been patched in.

Some people prefer to get it on console. Without cracking their console.

Wait, are you saying you can or can't? Because pretty much everything on the VC lets you use the GCN controller, SNES games included.

Also on the current topic, I tried to play this game on emulators, but never beat it until I finally got it on the VC. So yeah.

I haven't used my Wii for anything in ages, much less VC downloads. I turned it on for the first time in probably a year the other day. I don't know what's what on the console anymore.

GC controllers are pretty awful with NES and SNES games anyway.
