DELICIOUSLY SLEEK:

I imagine those sticks getting caught on things, like the lip to a pocket. Hopefully it comes with a nice, little sleeve.

I am quite happy with this. It's also rumored that T-Mobile will be getting that Xperia phone. Really hoping so.

I don't think I've ever been this interested in a Sony system before. I want this thing.

Looks great.

I was afraid this thing was going to be bulky like the PSP-1000 was. That thing was bearly even portable.

Now, lets see some games.

I'm not too fussed about this really. I mean the actual thing itself is nicely designed, although this looks tacky and doesn't suit it at all, but then it'll probably change by the time it's released.

But anyway, all this seems to be is a more powerful PSP. I mean, yay, cool, better looking games on the go, but everyone was expecting it anyway. Nothing for me to get excited about.

Plus I'm sure the price will be... interesting

i should probably get a normal psp now, there are a lot of things I've wanted to play on it but it's the only console I don't own from the current gen.

Looks allot nicer than what I imagined it would be.

Touch functions sounds interesting too.

Seems a bit thicker than I imagined.

I'm slightly more interested in this than I was with the original PSP, but I didn't buy a PSP either.

What I want to know is if it is backwards compatible with downloadable PSP games.

It does look good and the launch titles look great but I'll hold off on it since I remember all the hardware issues of every sony launch.

It's compatible with downloading PSP games you have, because it has no UMD like the GO.

I'm officially more excited for this than the 3DS.

It's almost guaranteed to get a Monster Hunter. And that's enough for me to buy it day one.

Also, it looks really nice, and the dual analog sticks are a huge plus. I'm looking forward to this, and what games it's gonna end up getting.

It's really one of those systems that you wait until the first price drop for. One, because it's likely going to be hella expensive. And two, because it won't have anything worth playing on it at launch.

I think they're pushing "Portable" a little bit

Spoiler for Large:

I mean it's not Game Gear size, but it's getting there.

I like it being big personally.
I feel that if it can fit in a backpack or something similar easily, then it's portable.

Still around the same size as a PSP-1000 if not smaller and the Gamegear and Atari Lynx are bigger then that shit.

And yeah I was gonna wait for a price drop on this shit.

The Game Gear was fucking huge. I remember holding that shit when I was little and having trouble with it.

Honestly I am expecting this to be alot more succesful then the Go since it is digital downloads are from the get-go and not in the middle of the generation of the games. That and for people without high speed they will get 3G support.

Yeah, that seems pretty cool to me. Wonder how much they'll charge for that? If they will?

Also, here the Hardward specs and what not for it.

NGP Specs.

Also, maybe this is just me, but I'm glad it's bigger. A nice big OLED screen is awesome, and the games are gonna look great on it. I've seen alot of people talk about wanting it shrunk down, but I wouldn't like that personally.

Also, HOT SHOTS GOLF EEE. I love that game.

I dunno, the sticks are just asking to be banged up or caught on something. I wish they could be retractable somehow.

So in either case with a PSP, it will be like holding a delicious Quiznos sub that plays games. That's a biiiiiig mother.

I don't think it'll be awkward to hold at all, but this probably is less suited for your pockets yeah.

I don't think it'll be awkward to hold either. The DS actually was more difficult to hold for me.

The 3G model is not confirmed for US but highly likely. Japan is only getting the 3G model. Europe is getting both

It would be cool, but it'll likely make it more expensive and require a contract for it. If it doesn't, that'll be cool, but I don't really wanna pay a monthly fee for it.

I'll probably get the 3G one but that does not mean I will subscribe to it right away. I am expecting it to be like the iPad where you can cancel and reactivate at any time and just subscribe during times I will need it.
