Default Enjoy "Choose your Own Adventure" Stories? Create your own!

Just finished coding the basic set up for a game that allows different users to craft a choose your own adventure game together.

Right now I have two types, A and B.

A allows you to progress through the story until you hit a dead end. If it isn't marked as "Game Over", you can continue the story by typing in what happens next, as well as the 2-3 choices that will branch from that new room.

B allows you to add new chances to any existing room (5 choice limit). You then create the room that results from that choice.

I JUST finished it an hour ago, so there might be some bugs. Let me know if you come across any, or if you have ideas for new adventure starters.

Fixed some issues (line breaks and possibility for double posting, resulting in 5+ choices).

Also added two new adventures, so there are now 4 going on.

Unfortunately, someone decided to go in and mess up some of the branches by creating one word game over rooms.

Hopefully, once users are implemented, it will be less chaotic

You need to add link options that skip you to an already made page.

For instance, you fall down a hole that leads you to a part of the dungeon that already exists.

A couple people have asked for this. I can think of a way to do this (display the room's number, and then ask if they want it to create a new room, or connect to an already existing room by typing in the room number). However, I would have to fix up the map

If I included that, the map would become an infinite loop

Not necessarily, for instance if you have a map like this:

A-B-D-F
\ \
C E
| \
G H

You could link F to anything in C without any looping. Really anything between branches would be okay, and even looping would be hard to do unless it was on purpose.

It wouldn't be hard to prevent the infinite looping in the map actually. I just have to go in and modify a part of it. (only show a room's connections once. If it happens again, just reference it)

Plus, I want to allow the ability to do loops. It would let people do things like offshoot rooms (For example: "PANIC!". Clicking it would say something like "GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF MAN!", and then a choice with "Alright, fine", which could return to the original room)

I added the ability to connect to existing rooms to type B. A new adventure was added to test this out. (Halloween related)
