Default NES Recommendations

Hello dear Fanboys. I consider myself a lover of the NES controller, and a good majority of the games. So when I found my old NES, complete with games I went on a tiny shopping craze buying original games for it from a place called Collector's Lair. My wonder is what games do you guys recommend? I'll list out the games I have first.

Adentures in the Magic Kingdom
Baby Boomer
Bart vs the World
Blaster Master
Bump'n'Jump
Burgertime
Crystal Mines
- Rarely works. May buy a new one if I can.
Donkey Kong Jr.
Dr. Mario
- Bought from Collector's.
Gyruss- I have a picture of me playing this when I was 4.
Hollywood Squares
Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2
- Really love this. Still haven't beat it.
Jackal
Lunar Pool
MegaMan 2
- So fun. Love the music. Friend loaned/gave it to me.
Metroid- Bought from Collector's.
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
Paperboy
Skykid
Smash TV
Super Mario Bros.
- I have two of these unsurprisingly.
Super Mario Bros. 3- $5 from Goodwill. Oh yes please. Has the box and everything.
Tetris 2
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
(The Legend of) Zelda
Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link
- Bought from Collector's.

Recommended List:
The Adventures of Lolo 1-3
Bionic Commando
Bubble Bobble
Captain Skyhawk
Crystalis
Final Fantasy 1
Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu
Ninja Gaiden 1-3
Power Blade
Rescue Rangers
Shadowgate
Shatterhand
Tecmo Super Bowl

I recommended FF1 to myself. I've played some of it on an emulator, but it just doesn't feel right playing it without me NES controller.

I remember enjoying Captain Skyhawk a lot, but I was also knee high at the time. I haven't played it since then, so maybe it sucks.

Also, Double Dragon II: The Revenge and, for the love of God, stay the hell away from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Get the second instead.

I remember Kung Fu being a fun, little diversion.

The Adventures of Lolo (and Lola) are fun as hell. Thanks for reminding me of em.
I believe I beat The Rescue Rangers way back when. Good times.
Helps that I already have TMNT1. It's hard, but it's fun when you get past halfway.. without dying. Which I rarely do. I'll see about finding the 2nd.
Double Dragon 2 I haven't seen, but I think I saw the original at the place. That's one's always been an elbow fest.
DuckTales. Know the Genesis and Gameboy versions, never seen the NES one.
Ha ha ha. Tecmo Super Bowl! I remember that. Go diagonally up and down the field for incredible yardage.
Never heard of Captain Skyhawk, Shadowgate, Kung Fu (Not really at least), or Phantom Fighter. I'll have to look those up.

Bubble Bobble. It's sad, because when I looked through your list, I said. It's up there. Then scrolled through and was saddened when it wasn't. So I went to look for it and was doubly sad when I couldn't find it. That one's going to be bought as soon as I can find it. I love that game.

I know I've seen Contra there, but it was $25. I've played it once or twice, but never really enough to get a good impression of it.

Oh man, I am so envious. I have a silly amount of SMB3 carts, and the numerous versions that have been released, so yeah. I can't think of anything to recommend right now, but hopefully I will later!

It rocked so much that I got so frustrated I grew to love/hate it. Kinda like Trials HD and I Wanna Be the Guy.

Bionic Commando always intrigued me, but I've never been able to find it.

I'll pick up NG1 the next time I'm there. I heard it was hard and fun.

I'm fine with Beggaring myself. I really don't have much to spend my loose money on at the moment. And I feel a special sense of joy having the actual Cartridges.
