Dragon Ball Kai is pretty good with the exception of their choice for Goku's voice.

Started watching Hokotu No Ken over the last few days after not watching it for about 12-13 years. This show is horrible, but I love it. Whats wrong with me?

Also I never talk to Kyle about anime, he never brings it up.

I do. You probably wouldn't have a lot to talk to him about if you did, though. I'm assuming anyway. He loves a lot of the anime I do. Just bought the Lucky Star boxset a few weeks ago, for example. A man after my own heart, that one.

yeah everything I know he likes is really girly.

I only watch manly anime where the main character throws throws badguys at other badguys, causing them all to explode.

No, now see, if there was an anime like that, I'd probably love it for being absolutely ridiculous.

But yeah, he likes the stuff with feeeeeeeeeeeelings.

Oh, and Azumanga Daioh. Can't say for sure, but I'm pretty positive that's one of his favorite anime, if not his favorite.

I was describing a real anime.

And yeah he told me that was his favorite.

Too manly for everyone. Skip to 6:00 for the scene I described.

Hokuto no ken is hilariously ridiculous all by itself, and that's why it's so lovable.

Azumanga Daioh was amazing. I couldn't help but burst out laughing when Tomo hurled the keys to the beach house into the woods.

And then when they found it, and Tomo had to be physically restrained to keep from doing it again?

But being facemelting is a positive quality for stuff, and eyemelting is a component of facemelting.

The impulsiveness of Tomo just made the show for me.

We place so many restrictions on ourselves as far as choices go in any given situation. People seem to forget that when someone asks them a yes or no question, you always have the third option of answering "maybe," the fourth of voluntarily wetting your pants, or the fifth of using your fingers to stab the other party in the eyes. These are just extreme examples of course, but it gives you the idea.

Tomo breaks the mold of society's expected actions in a given situation. I know that sometimes I get impulses that I feel too pressured to follow up on, but Tomo has no such restriction. It's humbling.

That was probably my favorite episode.

I also loved that episode where Yukari promised to buy her students juice if they won the sports festival. When they won Nyamo gave her the money they bet on, and then took it back because Yukari owed her money from before. Then when her students asked for juice, she did the "LOOK OVER THERE" trick and ran like hell.

I just watched the first two episodes of Maria†Holic. Liking it so far. And it reminds me of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei in many aspects.
