Good pic. Looks like they came out well. I have yet to find the perfect sugar cookie recipe, though.

Well, those actually look like buttercookies, a variant of shortbread. I know any cookie with sugar is a "sugar cookie" but there are recipes for just a simple Sugar Cookie. I can see if I have a non-family recipe I can post.

Yeah they taste a lot like shortbread, I don't know the Joy Of Cooking said they were uhh 'rolled sugar cookies' I think.

I want to make more soon.

Ever put some softer cookie dough in a bag and piped it onto a baking sheet? You can "draw" cookies instead of cutting them out.

Take a sheet of paper and draw something on it, then put baking paper over it, you can see through enough to draw out the cookie, like a face. Take some granulated sugar, apply a few drops of food coloring, and mix thoroughly so that it isn't globs but instead thinly coated on all of the sugar. (be prepared to break up the sugar once in a while because the food coloring can make it stick to itself). Put the sugar in a long pan.

Draw out the pattern in dough, then lift the paper up and turn it over so the dough is in the sugar. Take the paper out, turn it over again, and add more dough.

You can then dip it into another color, if you like, but the big deal is that NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW YOU DID THIS! And it will be really nice-looking and delicious. You can also use sprinkles, but sprinkles bake poorly. Nonpareils are the perfect thing, they're like micro-jawbreakers. So small you can crunch them up easily and they dissolve away like sugar.

We used to bag up Sugar cookie dough and make jack-o-lantern cookie faces, one pan would be orange, one pan yellow, and one pan green nonpareils. Make the outside, dip in orange. Make the inside eyes, nose, mouth, dip in yellow. Make a stem, dip in green. They baked up fantastically, and people always wondered how we made them.

Do you know how to make a paper piping bag?

I will reply to that at a later time.

People annoy me.

I had this friend who his personality was as asshole, that's just who he was, which was fine, I can be an asshole too, this is both in the sarcastic way.

Then he just started calling me annoying and blatantly making fun of my boyfriend to my face. It was really the calling me annoying thing that really got to me so I decided I didn't really feel like being friends with him after knowing him for almost 4 years.

I was pretty over not being his friend.

Now there's a camping trip planned for next year with some friends I know from the states, he was supposed to be coming. Said he wasn't in one of the threads on the Facebook event, I said I would remove him then. By this point, I pretty much had disregarded him as a person.

Then he goes on later to ask me when I became such a bitch and I told him it was when be started being an actual asshole to me and told me it was a cunt move for me to remove him from the event, which is stupid because he wasn't coming anyway.

So earlier tonight I saw him in a chat and I said one thing and he said something like "A wild dumb cunt appeared, blah blah blah" and later on said something about how he wishes he could put people on ignore. It seems to me, he's butthurt that I don't care to be his friend anymore and it's funny actually because I give him nothing to go on because I just ignore him.

Insults generally don't mean anything to me if I generally don't acknowledge your presence, so keep trying.

I've learned not to feed the trolls.

Edit: Bought 2 new games for my DS today, I am pretty stoked.

People, in general, are a bad idea.

I've gone so long without human contact that I have developed an "outside" opinion on things. I don't react "normally" or "predictably" to pseudo-psychiatry. This also means people say one thing once, and the other thing six months later, and I roll with the punch like everything is just happening right now.

Sometimes the people you meet are talking about giving hamburgers to homeless people, and sometimes the conversation is peeing in butts. And the instant they think it got to you, they develop an opinion of you. It usually doesn't matter, unless you want to spend more time with that person.

Two cents. Wooden nickels. Tree Man off.

Pooka back on: Hey, cookies:

Had fun tonight, ate some christmas food with my two best friends and one of their boyfriends. Him and I decorated the tree while the other two talked. After that, Mary and Richard [not the couple] went back into town because Mary forgot her purse at work. Melanie and I stayed at mine and watched TV and what not while she read a book about 500 must see movies.

Mary and Richard got back and we watched Elf and then after that was over, we just took pictures of us being stupid, like we always do.

I love them.

Also I miss my boi.

The highlight of my night was taking funny pictures with my mom in our kitchen.

2012 started out pretty shitty, but talking out my problems with the person I was having problems with, seems to have helped a lot and I'm surprised it didn't start an argument of any kind.

My day turned out pretty okay.

I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Hung out with my two best friends last night, my one friend Melanie is still dealing with her semi break up with her semi ex boyfriend of five and a half years. They talked on the weekend and he said he thinks it should just be a break for now.

Poor girl, I guess the fact that she's gained weight has negatively affected their relationship. Not in the 'you're fat I don't want to be with you' kind of way, more of the it really affected her personality, ambition and motivation to go out and do things, which made him bored because usually all they'd do would be sit inside and watch TV. Which can get boring after a while.

So I hope she's doing okay. I don't know what I'd do. It's been three days now. I just hate to see her hurting like this.

I really have been enjoying watching the Harry Potter movies recently. I like watching them in succession, because then I remember more. I started on Thursday I believe and didn't watch yesterday. Need to start reading the book I got for Christmas.

I hope I am still able to go to England.

Nice piercing. Looks good and centered.

That is an interesting necklace, too.

Or is it the hair?

Feel like I haven't posted in here for a while, not that I post a whole lot anyway. My friend knows how to make things awkward sometimes.

A few months ago, he told me he liked me and I told him I didn't like him like that and I never really thought of him like that. Whatever so the was that and I figured he had gotten over those feelings. He told me last night that he was going to go for me after Aaron (England boy) and I broke up but because I wasnt really talking to anyone really. Him and I really only talk on Skype and I don't go on much. Last night he also asked me if I felt the same now as I did then, meaning nothing for him that way and I figure there's no point in beating around the bush I told him I still didn't feel anything for him like that. He told me that he stuck up for me lots and sometimes the girl will take notice and feel something. I was like oh okay, I didn't really know what else to say I mean I don't know what he thinks I am going to say. I guess I'm getting over sugar coating shit and just being honest with people.

He is just so weird sometimes and offends me and I tell him he did and didn't speak to him for a few days until I was over it and he was like "Where is it? Sorry for getting mad" I was like.. Okay maybe if I was sorry. I'm not going to apologize for getting offended by something that you told to me about something you know nothing about just because you said 'no offense'

-_-

I wish I could relate.

Maybe you should try an answer thread? Or ask some questions around in the Rantings of Madmen forum. It wouldn't hurt, and might be beneficial to take the small distraction.

Going to be nervous all day tomorrow. Hopefully he works and got my note.

Edit: I told myself if he was working yesterday I was going to talk to him and if he didn't, I was going to leave a letter/note at work for him explaining that this was the only way I could do it and what not. Put my phone number at the bottom and told him he could text me. SO WE'LL SEE.
