It's about time. Now Fox should do the same with the Marvel properties they hold the rights to. Though, they've been a lot more consistently successful with X-Men than Sony has with Spider-Man, so I dunno.
If Fox fails with the Fantastic Four again you can make a safe bet that they would give them to Marvel, and by the way the trailer looks the next movie is looking average at best.
They won't give anything away. They'd let it lapse at absolute worst and I can't even imagine them doing that.
And if they haven't done that at this point, I doubt they're going to. They have come up with a plan recently to try and tie all the Marvel properties they have the rights to into one another more than they already have. To my understanding, Fantastic Four is a part of that plan. A sequel to the new one is already scheduled for release on June 2, 2017. Fox would honestly be dumb to give any Marvel property back to Marvel while the iron is so hot for the striking, even Fantastic Four.
My interest in these has been progressively dying. I think the last one I saw in theaters was Guardians. This one has me a little more interested than most, though. Mainly 'cause of RDJ being a big focus again and Spider-Man.
My friend has felt it too, though he's more of a theaters guy than me, I don't feel the same way but that might be due to me only having watched about half of the movies. (and only a few of those in theatres)
My thoughts are, it's similar to but not as good as Winter Soldier, but still up there with one of the best films in the MCU so far. Also one particular scene in the movie is probably one of the best in the MCU and maybe comic films in general, so it's worth seeing just for that.
