Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire

And I still think Dash Rendar is the manliest man in the Star Wars universe. Bitch shot down Boba Fett and fought AT-ST's on foot.

Crash Bandicoot 1-3. Those were the only good ones, imo. I vaguely remember CTR, having rented it once from the Blockblister.

What Nami said. I am clearly hanging out with a child.

Granted, I didn't start RPGs until after FF8 came out.

I think the first RPG I ever played was Crystalis. I have no idea how old I was at the time (played it years after its release), the only thing I know is that I didn't speak any goddamn English, so I had no idea what I was supposed to do.

Anyway... My first console ever was an old NES that my uncle gave us (as in my siblings and I) on 1994-1995 along with three cartridges: Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros. 3 and StarTropics. We never got StarTropics to work, but we used to play the other two a lot. Both Super Mario games are still all-time favorites for me.

The NES was our only console for a few years. My brother and I used to play it religiously, and a lot of times we would play with a friend who lived on the same street. Other games the three of us played constantly were Double Dragon II, Ninja Gaiden and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out.

I wish I still had that NES. We lost it the day we left my grandfather's house. Oh well.

I should name Astrosmash, too. Got it with the Intellivision. Was my first video game ever and I was obsessed with getting my score high enough to see how many different colors the sky would turn.

Ha ha, I feel really young and deprived of great video gaming when you guys mention the classics like Super Mario. The only consoles I had as a kid were the Sega Master System, which was quickly replaced when I was 5 by the Genesis/Sega CD combo unit (Ecco the Dolphin was actually one of the better games I got to play) I don't know if anyone remembers the game Ground Zero Texas for the Sega CD? My family played the shit out of that game... I remember my dad and uncle playing it for 16 hours straight

Also, Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap for the Sega Master System. Goddamn masterpiece, son.

Sega needs to bring Wonder Boy back.

I'm gonna say Shivers II: Harvest of Souls, because I can't really think of one, and I still liked the atmosphere in the areas, except in the video I'm about to link where the guy dicks around in places for too long.

On the SNES, Turtles in Time was the shit. I learned how to beat it on hard, by myself I absolutely loved it. And Aladdin, I fucking loved that one, even though I could never get through it without the towel or whatever it was. I remember discovering the codes for the game on my own. Pilotwings and Super Mario Kart were fun too, but I never really got far in either. Otherwise, I'd rent some other games for it and play them, Unicyclers and the stupid GUTS game come to mind.

On the N64, Smash Bros, Mario Party, and Super Mario 64 were great ones, but Mario Tennis was the king. It was better when Daisy had a not annoying voice, and could go to the net to destroy absolutely everything. It helped that I had good competition from one of my friends, and we're still pretty evenly matched. We kind of recently had a great 5 set, 6 game match that came down to the last few games. Power Tennis on the GC was alright, but it pales in comparison to the original, which just plays better.

On the Playstation, it was all Ape Escape. Sure, I had a couple of Crash games, and played them through. I had the Rugrats game, which I honestly loved, despite it being piss easy. But I played Ape Escape like mad, and is really the only reason I regret giving up my Playstation. I did nearly everything in that one. Nearly. I could not get One. Fucking. Ape. He was a mile away, on a ledge, and I could not for the life of me figure out how to get to him. I found out how much later, after giving up said Playstation.

Well, one of my first computers was actually my C64, but I can't with any certainty call my unknown-named music and fireworks creation software my favorite "game". Though, I could call the unknown-named text adventure with limited graphics one of my favorites. I played it often.
