Yeah, it ain't gonna have a perfect score. Point is, it's getting positive reviews.

I guess the reviews and ticket pre-sales for this have been good enough before its release that they've already green-lit a sequel.

I remember that Ves was concerned that this movie would be 'memey'
It's not. It's really not.

But it's hilarious and tragic and action packed, and hilarious again

I saw this. It was good. I enjoyed it a lot. I've seen the character as obnoxious before. He wasn't in this. He was still Deadpool, so if you aren't into that at all, then you probably won't like the movie, but he was a human being in this film. He was just as much Wade Wilson as he was Deadpool.

Also, this film was projected to make $75 million domestically this weekend. It made $130 million (and $260 million worldwide) instead. If I read correctly, it is the seventh largest opening for a superhero film and the second largest opening of all time for an R-rated film period.

I'd say it's a success.

Apparently screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese intentionally asked for the carrier at the end of this film to look as much like the Avengers' helicarrier as legally possible, turbine engines and all.

It probably helped that it was being scrapped. Lots of it was missing.
