I had that first thing happen to me, I reset the game and it was ok again.

Yeah, I heard about the Achievement thing not too long ago. A little disappointed because I thought it was some kind of secret or upcoming stuff.

So, major spoilers coming up, regarding Kenny in Episode 5

Spoiler for Theory regarding Kenny in Ep5:
I think he's still alive.

Helping Ben scene (If Ben is still alive): Kenny stays behind to help a dying Ben, in an alley with walkers coming from both sides. Seems like there's no hope for him, but we don't actually see him get bitten or overwhelmed, after he shoots Ben he runs off to the left, offscreen (it's hard to notice, but he definitely runs off in that direction). There are sounds of walkers eating someone, but obviously that could be just Ben.

Saving Christa scene: Christa jumps down a hole in the roof of the building after the balcony scene. She can't get out on her own, so Kenny jumps down to give her a boost. Kenny runs offscreen soon afterwards, there's no sounds to suggest he was injured, attacked or eaten.

Results screen before the credits: Unlike every other character who is killed, who all are explicitly said to havebeen killed and how, Kenny gets a very vague "Was lost".

Thoughts?

Spoiler for Don't click unless you've played through the entire thing:

Really funny video but it contains footage from both alternate scenes depending on whether you saved or dropped Ben, cut your arm off, tell Clementine what to do at the very end. So if you're going through this again and doing the stuff you didn't and don't want those scenes spoiled then don't watch this.

Just got episode 1 of this and started playing yesterday. Been meaning to play it for a while. Clementine is the best. Definitely better than any other Telltale game I've seen or played thus far.

What did you get it on?

With the PC version, I think all of the episodes load at once as a patch.

Also...

Spoiler for episode 1:
Who'd you save? Doug or Carley?

I wanted to play it on 360 instead, so I got it on that.

Spoiler for Episode 1:
I saved Carley. She seems the stronger of the two and is a pretty good shot. I also tried saving Shawn first earlier in the game, but Duck ended up making it out anyway. I figure that happens regardless.

And speaking of Duck, I defended him against Larry in episode 1, but Kenny keeps talking to me like I sided with Larry and said to throw Duck out in the street. Not sure if the dumb game is glitching or what, but that was totally not how that went down. Bothers me a little that Kenny is treating me like it is.

Spoiler for episode 1:
Yeah, Duck always lives and Shawn always dies, it's more of an effect on dialog who you choose.

Never heard of that glitch happening before, don't think it'll effect much though. The big choices involving Kenny are in the next two episodes.

Spoiler for Episode 1:
Still, it bothers me. I stood up for his kid and he's talking to me as if I made the exact opposite choice. I even eventually told him just to lay Larry out, because he was getting unbearable. It's like the game doesn't remember that. But oh well.

You can rewind to certain sections to redo choices, if you want. You have to do everything again that happens after the part you rewind to, but you wouldn't have to start all of the the way over.

Maybe you'll get lucky and the issue will get fixed after you download the episodes, from patching or something. I dunno. It happened to me once but it worked itself out after I reset the game.

Mine was different than just one choice not registering right, none of my choices were right and I think the game was loading up a default "Started the Game with Episode 5".

Also when I went to the main menu, before shutting the game down completely, the game acted like I didn't have Episode 5 loaded at all, which was really weird. Wasn;t until I did a full restart that everything worked correctly.

As far as other peoples experiences go, every time I hear about people having issues with choices not being right later on, it's usually certain choices in Episode 2 and 3. Haven't heard it happened with someone picking between...

Spoiler for episode 1:
Siding with larry or duck

Also, usually it's choices that happened in previous episodes, that were wrong in later episodes, that I've heard about (Example: Choices you made in episode 2, being different when you start up episode 3) rather than your situation you're in where the choice you made was different later on in the same episode.

Where is this rewind option you're talking about? Because it bothers the crap out of me every time he brings up what didn't happen in the drug store.

It's somewhere in the main menu when loading saves, can't remember exactly where.

Also, yeah, stuff relating to Kenny is always what likes to bug out, from what I hear.

Fuck going back and fixing it. I don't like him anymore, anyway.

Just hope it stops this crap. I make choices for a reason and I like the game to reflect that. Even the little ones.

If episodes get downloaded individually on consoles, try making sure they're all downloaded.

Might help later on, I dunno, I don't know how the console version works.

Fuck you in a good, emotional way, or fuck you in a glitchy and/or unimpressed way?

If it's the former, you're going to love/hate the next two episodes.
